About the role

• Job Summary
• The Jr. Warehouse/ Logistics Worker is responsible for assisting with basic warehouse tasks such as receiving, packing, and shipping goods, including delivery. This role supports inventory handling under close supervision and follows specific instructions. This job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations. Tasks can be carried out after basic training or demonstration.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.

• Key Responsibilities
• Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
• Help pack and label goods for shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
• Follow instructions for inventory handling and storage.
• Support warehouse staff in daily operations.
• Skills & Qualifications
• May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and the ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.

Additional qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work in a team and take direction.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks.
