• The Opportunity:
• Currently seeking a Material Delivery Expeditor. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, Florida office.

• Responsibilities:
• •Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.
• •Primarily responsible for the manual movement, monitoring, and delivery of materials between warehouse facilities and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners via company vehicles.
• •Assist shipping and receiving team with the receipt of inbound material.
• •Delivers received materials to respective areas for proper storage.
• •Assist in the loading and unloading of truckload shipments.
• •Assembles orders, checks against customer orders and reports incomplete orders.
• •Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved
• •Load, unload, and move materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facility, or manufacturing floor.
• •Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• •Provide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or other tools as necessary.
• •Able to lift 50 pounds, use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves
• •Able to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings
• •Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload.
• •Ability to drive company van, manual transmission box truck.
• •Operates pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
• •Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• •Assist in packaging, assembling wood crating and loading large shipments.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• •US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the work
• •Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirements
• •High school diploma or GED
• •Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process
• •Forklift/reach truck experience
• •Valid Driver’s License required
• •Ability to drive manual transmission 26ft box truck

• Desired:
• •Experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor
• •Active SECRET security clearance
• •Experience using Costpoint
• •Class A CDL
• •Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work
• •Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,400 - $68,200
