The Wealth Management Advisory Analyst Intern works closely with Wealth Advisors who help clients organize, manage, and deploy their financial resources to pursue their goals. The intern gains exposure to a range of clients including individuals, business owners, and families with sophisticated financial planning and wealth management needs.
Success Factors
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to a variety of clients, financial planning strategies, and wealth advisory solutions.
- Support the development and updating of financial plans by gathering, organizing, and analyzing client financial information.
- Assist with modeling financial planning scenarios based on client goals, needs, priorities, and risk profiles.
- Help prepare client meeting materials, financial planning analyses, presentations, and follow up items.
- Support Wealth Advisors in monitoring financial plans and coordinating implementation activities.
- Conduct research on financial planning topics and other issues relevant to clients’ circumstances and goals.
- Collaborate with Investment Analysts and Wealth Advisors on portfolio related assignments and special projects.
- Work with team leadership to identify opportunities to improve the client experience, advisory processes, and operating efficiencies.
- Build relationships with peers and team members at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building exercises, community outreach activities, and continuous learning and leadership development workshops.

Education, Experience and Certifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management and/or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Desire to pursue a career within wealth management
- Excellent communication and analytical skills required
- Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required
