Welder - Night Shift

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• •Interpret blueprints and collaborate with the Lead person to confirm job requirements.
• •Gather necessary materials and perform layout work according to specifications.
• •Set up welding machines and adjust settings for various applications.
• •Weld steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials in multiple positions and joint configurations.
• •Inspect welds for quality, repairing defective joints as needed.
• •Operate cutting torches and manual plasma cutters when required.
• •Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by performing regular housekeeping duties.

YOU HAVE:

• •High School Diploma or GED
• •At least one year of welding experience
• •Able to read tape measures and blueprints
• •Ability to properly operate welding equipment.
• •Must be trained in applicable SOPs and work instructions
• •Skilled in utilizing cutting torches, brushes, pads, buffers, grinders, overhead cranes, and rubber hammers
• •Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands:
• •Standing /Walking for extended periods of time,
• •Lift up to 50lbs.,
• •Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• •Wear the required PPE for the given position.
