FAQ for Ambassadors
Q: How much time does this take?
A: 2-5 hours/month on average. Most ambassadors post once at the start of semester, then share again mid-semester. The rest is answering occasional peer questions.
Q: What if I refer someone who doesn't work out?
A: No problem! You only get paid when referrals are hired AND complete their first problems successfully. There's no penalty for unsuccessful referrals.
Q: How do I track my referrals?
A: We'll provide you with a unique link. Every application that comes through your link is automatically tracked. You'll receive updates when your referrals hit payment milestones.
Q: Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
A: No limit! Refer as many qualified peers as you'd like. Top ambassadors at some companies earn $1000+ per semester through active referrals.
Q: What makes a "qualified" referral?
A: Strong CS fundamentals, attention to detail, available for ~5-10 hours/week, and interested in AI/ML. Junior/senior undergrads, Master's students, and PhD students tend to be the best-suited applicants, but anybody is invited to apply.
