We are hiring for a Wine Advisor at our Save-On-Foods location in Parksville, BC.

For this position, you must be 19 years of age or older.

Open availability is preferred.

16-32 hours per week.

Shift times are between 7:00am-10:00pm.

You will be responsible for:

• •Providing customers with information about various specially selected wines and making recommendations on tastings and food pairings when required.
• •Providing demonstrations on various wine products to engage customers.
• •Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• •Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• •Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• •Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• •Serving It Right Certification or willingness to obtain it.
• •A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• •A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• •Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• •Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
