Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Workday Functional Lead FINS with strong expertise in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning . The candidate will be responsible for supporting finance business processes, functional configuration, testing, UAT, production handoffs, and Workday releases.

The ideal candidate should have strong Finance functional/system experience and hands-on exposure to Workday Financials modules and Adaptive Planning .

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead and support Workday Financials (FINS) functional activities across finance processes.
• •Work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
• •Configure and support Workday business processes based on business requirements.
• •Support finance operations including Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Supplier Processes, and Customer Processes .
• •Support FP&A and Adaptive Planning activities and related finance planning processes.
• •Support Month-End Close activities and finance reporting.
• •Work on EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) for data loads and integrations as required.
• •Prepare functional requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and support UAT .
• •Coordinate defect resolution and ensure successful completion of testing activities.
• •Support production handoffs , deployment activities, and post-production validation.
• •Participate in Workday releases , impact analysis, testing, and validation of new functionality.
• •Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation and support lifecycle.
• •Ensure finance processes, configurations, and reporting requirements are aligned with business needs.

Mandatory Skills

• •7+ years of overall experience in IT/ERP/Finance systems.
• •Strong Workday Financials (FINS) experience; 3+ years preferred .
• •Strong Finance functional/system experience .
• •Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning .
• •Experience in Finance Operations, Data & Reporting .
• •Experience with:
