Workshop/ Production Technician

What You Will Do:

• •Prepare equipment for construction into assemblies as described on work orders, drawings, and approved procedures.
• •Assemble mechanical equipment in accordance with documented instructions.
• •Conduct functional testing of equipment following approved test procedures.
• •Operate torque machines for controlled make‑up and break‑out of assemblies.
• •Perform hydrostatic and pressure testing of equipment in line with company procedures.
• •Pack equipment securely and safely into specified packaging ready for shipment.
• •Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with company Health & Safety requirements.
• •Identify, report, and help mitigate hazards or unsafe conditions.
• •Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and the RMSpumptools Quality Management System through disciplined and controlled working practices.
• •Work safely at all times and promote a strong safety culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• •Strong mechanical aptitude with good product and technical understanding.
• •Confident and clear communicator.
• •Ability to work accurately to documented instructions, drawings, and procedures.
• •Good understanding of Quality Management System requirements.
• •Experience operating torque machines and/or conducting pressure testing is highly desirable.
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced production environment.
