Youth Basketball Scorekeeper

Be part of the game as a Youth Basketball Scorekeeper, operating the electronic scoreboard, keeping accurate game records, and helping create a fun, positive experience for young athletes! Saturday morning and afternoon shifts and Sunday shifts are available, with approximately 4–12 hours per week. The fall season runs from late October through mid-December, and the winter season runs from early January through mid-March, with required training dates to be announced.

Salary Range: $16-$17/Hr.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school student, high school graduate, or G.E.D.

Minimum age of 15 is required

One to two years of work experience keeping score for sporting events

Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Standing or sitting for sustained periods while completing work

Repetitive hand/arm movements such as when keeping score or running a scoreboard

Some bending, twisting, and walking while performing job duties

Some bending, kneeling and reaching for items off the floor and on high shelves

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. in recreational equipment, storage boxes, and other supplies.
