You will have the opportunity to:

Assist in engineering assignments and ongoing projects

Familiarize yourself with departmental functions and the manufacturing process

Contribute meaningfully to performance goals and assigned projects

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering or related field

Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship

Completed at least sophomore plus classes by the start of the co-op term

Good academic standing with your Engineering major and school

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Able to work 40 hours for the duration for the co-op

What sets you apart:

Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above

Understanding of basic Engineering principles and relevant functions

Relevant work experience or involvement with professional clubs/organizations

Possesses an understanding of basic Engineering principles

Previous experience with manufacturing environments, statistical control, and project management is preferred

Able to work in an environment without air conditioning

Ability to read a graph and analyze

Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team

Ability to work effectively both independently and on a team

Curiosity and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and adaptability skills

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $24.18 - $41.20 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between22.50 to31.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
