• Job Summary:
• Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the Activity Assistant is responsible with assisting to ensure compliance for a well-rounded Life Enrichment program that promotes the needs of the residents while complying with overall operation of the Recreation Therapy Department according to state and federal guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• •Assist our residents’ with activities to provide social communication, entertainment, exercise and relaxation for our residents.
• •Lead group and individual resident activities
• •Complete required record keeping per facility policy

Qualifications/Experience:

• •Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities
• •Ability to work every other weekend as well as some holidays
• •1 + years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)
