Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do:

• •Perform aerothermal services ensuring on-time delivery and technical quality required of work performed.
• •Perform low to medium complexity steady state and transient performance comparison packages which can include data vs. simulation, model to model, control to control, and engine to engine.
• •Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or trainings
• •English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

Qualifications You Must Have:

• •Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• •Minimum GPA of 3.0
• •Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

ATF is responsible for the aerodynamic and thermal design, analysis and performance evaluation of all engine modules and systems, including fans, compressors, combustors, turbines, augmentors, inlets and nozzles. ATF is focused on aerodynamic analysis, turbomachinery performance, combustion modeling, secondary flow and heat transfer, performance integration, acoustics, and aeromechanics.

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on a regular basis with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
