About the opportunity

Working under the guidance of the NDIS Specialist, the After Hours Team Leader will provide operational support to the After Hours and Intake team, as well as working to continuously improve the 24/7 support provided to the wider Wellways organisation.

The After Hours Team Leader is a blended role of leadership responsibilities alongside some ongoing active support within the After Hours roster.

The Team Leader's responsibilities include:

• •Performing duties as an After-Hours agent on a dedicated roster
• •Supporting After Hours program operations, including rostering and daily management.
• •Supervising staff, providing performance development, training, and managing performance.
• •Recruiting and onboarding staff, ensuring they are properly oriented, supported, and developed.
• •Collecting and reporting data for monitoring and evaluation.
• •Improving system response to participants, ensuring services are accountable, available, and accessible.
• •Maintaining reporting and information systems.
• •Building effective internal relationships to ensure consistent service delivery across the organization.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• •Relevant Tertiary Qualifications, or equivalent experience
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• •Right to work within Australia
• •Current valid Driver’s Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
• •NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
• •Satisfactory National Police Records Check
• •NDIS Worker Screening Check
• •Working with Children's Check
