Your Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an AI Lead Test Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving automation testing strategies for AI-powered and Agentic AI solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery across user interfaces, APIs, data platforms, and AI services. You will provide technical leadership, drive automation excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable AI solutions.

As an AI Lead Test Automation Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• •Define and drive test automation strategies for AI-powered, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• •Lead and mentor automation engineers while promoting quality engineering best practices.
• •Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across web, API, data, and AI testing layers.
• •Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Developers, and Product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and solution quality.
• •Establish testing approaches for AI models, prompt-based applications, AI agents, and intelligent workflows.

• •Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• •Monitor quality metrics, testing KPIs, defects, and risks while providing regular stakeholder updates.
• •Drive innovation, process improvements, and the adoption of AI-enabled quality engineering practices.

Your Profile

• •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• •Minimum 12+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including extensive experience in test automation.
• •Proven experience leading automation testing teams and driving quality engineering initiatives across complex environments.
• •Strong expertise in automation frameworks and technologies such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Java, Python, or C#.
• •Experience testing AI/ML solutions, Generative AI applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud-native applications.
• •Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and modern quality engineering practices.
• •Familiarity with AI model validation, prompt testing, AI agent testing, LLM evaluation, and Responsible AI principles is considered an advantage.
• •Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• •Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
