AI Researcher — Distillation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Linux Software Engineer - Ubuntu for Next-Gen Silicon (multiple roles and seniority levels) based in Ireland.

This role focuses on advancing Ubuntu across the latest generations of silicon and hardware platforms, working across the full Linux software stack. You will collaborate with global silicon partners to optimize operating systems, packages, toolchains, and software ecosystems for emerging architectures and technologies. Your work may span AI accelerators, graphics, networking, virtualization, containers, confidential computing, IoT, embedded systems, PCs, servers, and HPC environments. The position combines hands-on software engineering, open-source development, debugging, hardware enablement, and performance optimization. You will work closely with engineering teams, upstream communities, technology partners, and customers to deliver high-quality experiences across diverse platforms. This is a globally distributed, remote role offering opportunities to contribute to technologies shaping the future of computing.
