Summary

The AR Accounting position plays a key role in the company generating sales orders and sales invoices, posting

cash receipts, supporting the collections process, assisting with month-end close and account reconciliations,

maintaining records, and supporting day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

You’ll spend your days on the following

• •Compile and review billing information
• •Create and review sales orders
• •Monitor project invoicing cycle
• •Create invoices
• •Post cash receipts
• •Client collections
• •AR account and deposit reconciliations
• •Respond to customer and internal inquiries. Research billing and customer payment discrepancies
• •Generate accounting statements and reports
• •Assist in month-end and annual close
• •General ledger review and reconciliations
• •Other duties/projects as assigned

What you need to be successful in this role

• •Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• •Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
• •Dependable and ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times
• •Maintain professional relationships with all levels of management
• •Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
• •Highly organized and detail-oriented
• •Associates Degree in Accounting (or relevant field of study) or equivalent in private sector accounting or
• •Bookkeeping experience
• •2-4 years related work experience
