Assistant Director of Security

Your Leadership

Support and assist the Director of Security with managing the day-to-day operations of the Security Department

Establish and implement security policies and procedures

Review and follow-up on all incident, accident, and loss reports

Assist with establishing Fire Life Safety policies and procedures

Develop and train associate(s) in emergency preparedness procedures

Assist in the implementation of the hotel’s key control program

Actively participate in the property’s Safety Committee and take ownership of action items

Collaborate with Director of Security to develop and implement department Standard Operating Procedures

Assist in training associates on all OSHA-related rules and regulations and Worker’s Compensation

Act as systems administrator for access control system and CCTV (Closed-circuit Television) system

Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the scope of duties, based on business needs

You are trustworthy and have integrity

Must Haves

Prior Safety and Security leadership experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Prior experience managing Workers Compensation and General Liability claims preferred

Proficiency, knowledge, and experience of basic law enforcement, a plus

Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends

Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Embrace Technology – continually learn, adapt, and master to new operating system

Luxury hotel experience, a plus

Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over

Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift

The pay scale for the Assistant Director of Security position is $90,000.00. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
