Assistant Finance Manager

Join Lendlease Global Commercial REIT (LREIT) as an Assistant Finance Manager!

We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join our team of finance professionals as an Assistant Finance Manager . This is a fantastic opportunity within the finance team covering and supporting the full spectrum of the finance function – including accounting & reporting, tax and treasury.

Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager and within the Finance team, this role will help to support LREIT’s and its subsidiaries’ accounts and be responsible for the required financial reporting and management. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across different countries / jurisdictions, other members in the LREIT team and various functions in the Lendlease Group business. He / She will be an active participant and contributor within the LREIT team. ​

Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• •Bookkeeping and monthly financial closing and consolidation.
• •Work with the regional treasury team to support LREIT treasury matters in relation to its loans and hedging.
• •Support the monitoring of weekly cash flow projection.
• •Preparation and support of tax computations and tax filings (including corporate tax, GST, withholding tax), working with external tax agent as appropriate.
• •Liaison with relevant stakeholders (including REIT Trustee, legal and corporate secretary) in arranging all necessary resolutions in relation to approval of accounts, distributions, change in bank signatories, appointment of officers etc., and ensure filing is done as appropriate.
• •Preparation and support of quarterly financial statements and annual report in line with regulatory requirements.
• •Preparation and support of quarterly board reporting.
• •Preparation and reporting of information packages for lending banks.
• •Coordination of external and internal audits with the appointed external service providers.
• •Preparation and support for ad hoc regulatory and internal reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• •An accounting graduate with ACCA or CPA or similar professional qualification.
• •Relevant experience in REITs and real estate would be an added advantage.
