Assistant Manager / Manager, Leasing & Marketing Communications

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager / Manager with leasing and marketing/ placemaking experience in retail/ commercial/ mixed-use developments to join our team and oversee the management of integrated community development projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the operational efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance of our building.

[What you will be working on]

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet operational and user requirements
  • Supervise vendors and outsourced personnel, including performance and report review, on leasing, tenancy management and marketing management of completed Integrated Community Developments and any other State properties as and when required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants through proactive engagement and effective feedback management.
  • Lead the formulation, review and enhancement of leasing policies and processes to optimise operational efficiency and tenant experience.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of tenants' requirements, including space utilisation patterns, rental assistance needs and commercial considerations, to provide tailored solutions.
  • Implement and manage arrears collection for the portfolio, ensuring timely rental payments and minimising defaults.
  • Lead negotiations for tenancy renewals with existing tenants, securing optimal terms while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of overall marketing and casual leasing activities and identify opportunities for unique activations and publicity at the building.
  • Source new concepts and prospects which are relevant to the development's positioning
  • Conduct, understand and share periodic retail market trends
  • Contribute to portfolio-wide integrated marketing and digital campaigns to ensure KPIs are met and a unified building experience is achieved.
  • Engage and collaborate with tenants from time to time, to promote their products through portfolio-wide initiatives that enhance sales performance and elevate shopper experience.
  • Work with vendors and conduct post- campaign or event reviews to assess the effectiveness of the promotions / events in terms of shopper traffic and impact of campaigns and prepare monthly reports for internal analysis.
  • Develop engaging marketing strategies that foster stronger connections with communities across the portfolio.
  • Monitor competitor landscape, analyse market trends, and identify opportunities to drive sales and footfall.

[What we are looking for]

  • Background in Real Estate, Marketing, Business, Mass Communication or other relevant degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in all areas in leasing and/or marketing, which includes leasing, casual leasing, placemaking, marketing functions or related experience in retail/ commercial/ mixed-use developments.
  • Experience in management of integrated community development and Managing Agent is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write professionally and engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive network of contacts and keen understanding of the Singapore retail landscape will be an advantage
