Strategic Leadership:

Define and implement technical strategies for building services aligned with organizational goals.

Project Oversight:

Manage end-to-end technical delivery of building services projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.

Innovation & Sustainability:

Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.).

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

Team Development:

Mentor and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Strong expertise in building services engineering (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).

Proven project team and Project management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of sustainability standards and best practices.

Proficiency in Mechanical design softwares (HAP, Hevacomp), IES and project management tools. Must be fully conversant with technical software, IES-Part L, H&C Load, TM52,59,54, SAP, Whole Life Carbon

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The applicant should have adequate knowledge on various types of building projects.

Desired Skills

Excellent working knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, NFPA and other local codes and good working knowledge of UK codes would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in building services, with at least 5 years in a leading major project delivery.

Chartered Engineering Status with the UK Engineering Council.
