Join a team that keeps cloud platforms reliable, secure, and ready to scale—while ensuring the data flowing through them is accurate and trusted. In this role, you’ll blend hands-on AWS administration with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and drive strong data quality outcomes using IDQ and/or Ataccama. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, data, and governance stakeholders to build resilient environments, automate repeatable operations, and implement practical data quality controls that improve confidence in reporting and downstream analytics. If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges, standardizing best practices, and making measurable improvements to data reliability, this is a great opportunity to create impact across both cloud and data quality domains in a collaborative, delivery-focused culture.
Responsibilities
Administer and support AWS environments (accounts, IAM, networking, compute, storage) with a focus on availability, security, and cost awareness.
Build, maintain, and enhance Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules, environment promotion, and state management practices.
Implement and operate data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and/or Ataccama, including profiling, rule creation, validations, and monitoring.
Partner with data owners and engineering teams to define data quality requirements, thresholds, and remediation workflows aligned to business needs.
Troubleshoot cloud and data quality pipeline issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive fixes through to completion.
Establish operational runbooks, alerting, and dashboards for AWS services and data quality checks to improve observability and response times.
Support access controls, audit readiness, and governance practices across AWS and data quality tooling.
Contribute to continuous improvement by standardizing configurations, automating repetitive tasks, and promoting best practices across teams.
Technical requirements
Experience designing scalable Terraform module patterns, managing multi-environment deployments, and enforcing IaC standards.
Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices (least privilege IAM, logging/monitoring, encryption, and secure networking).
Experience integrating IDQ/Ataccama checks into broader data workflows and operationalizing data quality monitoring and reporting.
Exposure to data governance practices such as issue management, stewardship workflows, and data quality KPI tracking.
Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting efforts, reduce recurring incidents, and improve platform stability through automation and standardization.
Additional responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on ownership in AWS administration and cloud operations.
Proven experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS.
Working experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and/or Ataccama to design and run data quality rules and validations.
Solid understanding of data quality concepts (profiling, rule-based validation, exception handling, and reporting).
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly.
Education
Bachelor of Engineering
