Batch Deck Operator

Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $23.00 an hour

Conagra Brands is looking for a Batch Deck Operator to join our growing team! You will batch raw ingredients according to product specifications while maintaining food safety, quality, and production standards. You will work onsite at our facility in Rensselaer, Indiana and report to the Batch Deck Lead. Req-039533 Batch Deck Operator.

• Location: Rensselaer, IN
• Shift: 1st Shift | 3-2-2 Schedule | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM); rotating every 4 months
• Starting Pay: $23.00/hour

What You'll Do:

• •Batch ingredients according to specifications and production schedules.
• •Operate and monitor batch deck equipment and related processing systems.
• •Complete quality checks and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• •Perform routine equipment inspections, sanitation, and product changeovers.
• •Accurately complete production and inventory records.
• •Communicate equipment, process, and production issues to leadership.
• •Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What You'll Need:

• •High School Diploma or GED.
• •One year of manufacturing experience.
• •Basic computer skills.
• •Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• •Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at elevated heights.
• •Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous batching, bulk receiving, or food manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, you may be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Work Environment: This position is located in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Req-039533 Batch Deck Operator
