Billing Specialist

Job Description

The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data, supporting payment reconciliation processes, and maintaining thorough documentation of billing-related activities. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of the organization by validating billing inputs, assisting with adjustments and re-billings, and ensuring all records are properly maintained for audit and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

• •Validate billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• •Assist in reconciling payments, adjustments, and re-billings
• •Maintain detailed and organized documentation of billing, payment, and related financial activities
• •Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• •High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
• •6 months of work experience in Billing, Reconciliations, Collections, or Pharmacy

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• •Ability to analyze data with a high level of accuracy and consistency

Potential pay for this position ranges from $17.85 - $25.48 based on experience and skills.
