What You Will Do:

Join our Mission Systems Quality organization as a Business & Data Analytics Co-Op for the Spring/Summer 2027 session. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn how Operations teams utilize Quality-related metrics to drive improvements in customer and product quality. You will work with data sources, build reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• •Analyze data sources to identify opportunities for efficient data retrieval across multiple heritage business systems.
• •Learn and apply Quality-related metrics such as Defective Parts per Million (DPPM), Scrap, Rework & Repair (SRR), On-time Delivery, and Supplier Escapes.
• •Automate data retrieval processes to improve stakeholder efficiency.
• •Collaborate with the Data Strategy and Analytics Specialist to develop proactive reports that highlight key business trends.
• •Support leadership in prioritizing focus areas and continuous improvement initiatives using data insights.

What You Will Learn:

• •Learning to clean, structure, and model data using tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• •Building dashboards or automated reports that support stakeholders in engineering, operations, or quality.
• •Experience iterating solutions based on customer feedback from engineers, managers, or mission‑assurance teams.
• •Presenting findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• •Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Programming, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• •Experience in data analysis or programming
• •Experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and Power Apps

Qualifications We Prefer:

• •Minimum of 60 completed hours of credit by the start of the co-op.
• •Previous experience working with Operations, Quality, or Manufacturing teams or projects
• •Experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau
• •Experience with Javascript or Python

Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
