About Taumarunui
Taumarunui is situated only 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski field - one of NZ's largest ski areas, and the Tongariro National Park – a World Heritage Area which boasts one of the best one-day treks in New Zealand, the Tongariro Crossing.
Other activities in the surrounding area include mountain biking the 42 Traverse, kayaking or canoeing the Whanganui River, trout fishing in nearby Tūrangi, or water-skiing, kayaking and sailing on the Great Lake Taupo.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Client Services person to join our Customer Services Team.
This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday.
We are looking for people who have the following qualities:
A passion for customer service, with excellent communication skills
Enjoys working in a busy environment and being busy all day
Rural, farming, or agricultural experience and knowledge
Veterinary practice experience and knowledge
Good knowledge of the Taumarunui area and geographical locations
Previous experience in managing calls, booking diaries and appointments
Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to use initiative
Excellent computer skills
Confident, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on detail and going the extra mile
Responsibilities include:
Providing first point of contact for our clients and visitors
Booking appointments for clients
Answering animal health questions
Telephone contact and follow-up calls
Providing sales advice and product knowledge
End of Day processing and banking
Administration support for our veterinarians
Previous experience within a customer service, veterinary or agricultural sector would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be given.
