We are currently seeking a Clinical Research Associate II (CRA II) to join our diverse and dynamic team supporting major global pharmaceutical sponsors.
Working across ICON's partnerships with leading international pharmaceutical companies, you will benefit from the scale, stability, and resources of a large pharma environment, while enjoying the career development opportunities, global reach, and collaborative culture that ICON is known for.
This role offers exposure to innovative clinical research programmes across multiple therapeutic areas, working alongside experienced study teams and some of the most established research sites in France.
This role requires residency in the Paris or Lyon area and can be office-based (Hybrid) or remote.
What You Will Do:
You will contribute to clinical trial monitoring activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.
Key responsibilities include:
Independently monitor Phase I–III clinical trials to ensure compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements
Managing clinical studies in France across multiple therapeutic areas including Oncology, (solid tumor and hematology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Obesity, Cardiology and Dermatology.
Conduct site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits
Ensuring protocol compliance, data integrity, and patient safety throughout the trial process.
Collaborating with investigators and site staff to facilitate smooth study conduct.
Performing data review and resolution of queries to maintain high-quality clinical data.
Contributing to the preparation and review of study documentation, including protocols and clinical study reports
Manage study documentation, regulatory submissions, and ethics/IRB approvals
Ensure study cost efficiency and timely issue resolution
Your Profile:
Advanced degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, nursing, or medicine.
Experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements within a CRO or pharmaceutical industry environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management, with proficiency in relevant clinical trial software and tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive compliance within a complex environment.
Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
