College Intern

Wilson & Company is looking for a College Intern focused on Transportation Engineering to join our Phoenix, AZ office. As an Intern in our office:

• •You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career.
• •You’ll be an active member of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers.
• •You’ll be introduced to Wilson & Company’s culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice.
• •You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

This is a year-round paid opportunity that could lead to full-time employment upon graduation!

Required Skills:

• •Civil Engineering student with an interest in a Transportation Engineering career, such as highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, and traffic engineering. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on a number of these as an employee.
• •Highly responsible and dependable.
• •Strong written and oral communication skills.
• •Strong problem-solving skills.
• •Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic.
• •Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• •Currently a Civil Engineering student with an interest in Transportation Engineering.
• •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• •Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated.
• •Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.

Hourly Earnings: $22.00 - $24.00
