Team Overview

Our team focuses on Commercial products that enable our customers to confidently grow, expand into new channels, reduce costs, and comply with regulations, while helping them reduce risk and create great customer experiences through our solutions, insights, data, and analytics. These products play an important role in the broader TransUnion story by empowering businesses to make informed decisions, drive sustainable growth, and navigate an increasingly complex and regulated environment. The team reports to the Director, Product Management.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• •Serve as the Africa region ambassador for Commercial products, acting as the primary link between the region and the Centre of Excellence.
• •Shape and execute regional Commercial product strategies, bringing the voice of the customer into product development and go-to-market initiatives.
• •Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
• •Drive revenue growth by setting ambitious targets, managing product performance, and partnering with Sales and Analytics to achieve business objectives.
• •Support product adoption through sales enablement, training, marketing collateral, and subject matter expertise during client engagements.
• •Oversee the successful delivery, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of Commercial solutions to meet customer needs and business expectations.
• •Build and manage strategic partnerships, stakeholder relationships, and data acquisition initiatives that strengthen the Commercial portfolio.
• •Ensure effective governance through robust business processes, regulatory compliance, risk management, and transparent performance reporting across product, sales, analytics, and technology teams.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• •This position requires an advanced degree with more than 7 years’ experience relating to product management specializing in commercial management.
• •The individual must display business maturity, analytic ability and strong communication skills
• •Excellent presentation abilities and the ability to explain complex concepts and solutions in a simplified but persuasive way.
• •Proven ability to innovate new concepts and solutions.
