We are now looking for a Controller for a part-time position to join our team in Ostrava, Czechia .
As our Controlling team role in Ostrava has grown significantly, we are looking for a temporary part-time team member to strengthen the team during this period of growth.
The main purpose of this role is to support in controlling and closing tasks during peak workload while the future team setup continues to evolve and stabilize.
This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week , offered on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027.

As a Controller , you will be responsible for:
- Support controlling and financial reporting processes for entity/function in scope of responsibility
- Contribute to efficient and accurate closing, analysis, planning and reporting related activities for the entity/ function
- Collaborate with other Finance Operations processes Record to Report (RtR), Purchase to Pay (PtP), Order to Cash (OtC)
- Ensure Stora Enso Finance processes and policies are applied in entity/ function
- Proactively find opportunities, suggest actions and drive change to continuously improve and harmonize end-to-end controlling processes
- Drive and contribute to process automation and other development projects
- Ensure close co-operation and communication with entity/ function and key stakeholders in Finance and other functions
- Support and train stakeholders in controlling related matters
Qualifications:
- Education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (economy high school diploma/university degree)
- Experience in controlling, management reporting or accounting
- Good understanding of controlling processes (entity closing and operative financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting)
- Knowledge of controlling tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, SAP, OneStream, Power BI)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a matrix organization in international environment
- Good communication skills and business-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) at least B2 level
