Your work will help preserve the financial value of awarded incentives while minimizing exposure to clawbacks, penalties, and other compliance risks.

In this Role You Will:

Manage the end-to-end compliance lifecycle for tax credits and incentives, including monitoring requirements, deadlines, and reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

Prepare, review, and submit required filings, certifications, and compliance reports to governmental agencies.

Ensure all reporting is consistent with the terms of incentive agreements and applicable statutes.

Maintain a centralized compliance calendar and tracking system for all incentives.

Maintain complete and organized records of incentive agreements, compliance filings, and supporting documentation.

Ensure readiness for audits, agency inquiries, and internal reviews.

Monitor performance against incentive requirements (e.g., job creation, wage thresholds, investment levels).

Identify potential compliance risks and escalate issues proactively.

Support development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and playbooks for incentive compliance.

Implement best practices for tracking, documentation, and reporting.

Who You Are:

4+ years of experience with credits and incentives, tax, economic development, or state and local tax (SALT).

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional requirements.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Ability to synthesize legal requirements into operational processes.

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
