Scrap Crane Operator- 2,500 Sign on Bonus!

Join our team as a Scrap Crane Operator and play a key role in keeping yard operations running efficiently. In this position, you will be responsible for sorting scrap materials, loading trucks and balers, and operating E-crane or crawler crane equipment to ensure smooth material flow across the yard. • •Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• •Saturday: 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM

What You’ll Bring (Required)

• •2 plus year's experience operating mobile or crawler cranes (Liebherr, Sennebogen or Link-Belt)
• •Knowledge of scrap metal types and grading
• •Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
• •Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
• •Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others
• •Ability to follow and communicate instructions clearly
• •Ability to meet physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• •High School Diploma or GED

What You’ll Do

• •Sort scrap materials by type and quality
• •Operate E-crane or crawler crane to load trucks, railcars, and balers
• •Move crane equipment throughout the yard as needed
• •Maintain material flow by cleaning out scrap spreads
• •Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a team-focused environment
• •Support continuous improvement efforts across yard operations

• •Constant sitting
• •Occasional pushing and pulling
• •Minimal standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and reaching
• •Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined in the Job Analysis Database
