Calling All Animal Lovers with Superhero Patience! Join Our Vet Team as a CSR!
Love animals and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a knack for calming stressed-out pet parents while juggling phone calls, paperwork, and maybe the occasional furball underfoot? Alaska PAWS (formerly the Alaska SPCA) is on the hunt for a Veterinary Customer Service Representative with a heart of gold, nerves of steel, and a love for all things furry.
- About the Role:
- This is no ordinary CSR position. Think of it as the ultimate blend of customer care, animal advocacy, and adrenaline! Here’s what you’re signing up for:
Be the Voice of Calm: You’ll be the soothing voice and smile that pet owners need during their most nerve-wracking moments. You’ve got the magic touch for easing stressed minds – and maybe even turning a grumpy cat’s day around!
Channel Your Inner Multitasking Ninja: Every day is different here. From managing phones and scheduling appointments to supporting our veterinary team, you’ll be the glue that keeps everything running smoothly. (Bonus points if you can type, answer calls, and hand out treats simultaneously!)
A Heartfelt Impact: You’re not just answering calls. You’re helping pets (and their people!) in real time. When you leave each day, you’ll know you made a difference – whether it was helping a family with a sick pet or cheering up a pup waiting for its vaccines.
You’re Our Kind of Person If:
You’re a master of calm, especially under pressure.
You communicate like a champ – even if the person on the other end of the line is worried or having a tough day.
You have a soft spot for pets and their people and love the idea of helping animals live happier, healthier lives.
You’re quick on your feet, love a fast pace, and can switch gears like a pro.
- Why You’ll Love It Here:
- At Alaska PAWS, you’re more than just a customer service rep – you’re part of a mission-driven team of animal lovers who have each other’s backs. We work hard, laugh a lot, and go home every day knowing we made a difference in the lives of animals and their families.
- Ready to Join the Pack?
- If you’re looking for a job where you can put your empathy, patience, and multitasking skills to work (and maybe even sneak in a cuddle or two), then we’d love to meet you. Apply now, and get ready for a career full of heart, purpose, and a few happy barks along the way!
