Data Engineer Working Student (m/w/d)

• YOUR TASKS
• •You support the development of databases and data integration processes
• •You contribute to the design and implementation of data models and data pipelines for modern data lakes, data warehouses, or lakehouses
• •You assist in documenting and structuring data platforms and related processes
• •You participate in the development of interactive dashboards and reports, for example in the area of performance metrics and ESG
• •You support the application of data analytics methods and tools within project contexts
• •You assist users in the utilization and maintenance of data platforms and analytics solutions

• YOUR PROFIL
• •You are currently enrolled as a student in an IT-related field, such as (Business) Informatics, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline
• •You have solid knowledge of the programming languages Python and SQL
• •You have experience in data visualization and presentation using Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• •Initial experience with Databricks is considered an advantage
• •You have a basic understanding of data modeling methods and data integration processes (ETL / ELT)
• •You work independently and in a structured manner and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
• •You possess excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
• •You are able to work on-site at least 50% of the time in our office in Cologne or Munich
