Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for enterprise storage and backup environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage, backup, recovery, and replication incidents within defined SLAs.
- Perform backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery operations across critical business systems.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, storage performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and data protection incidents.
- Support and maintain backup and recovery operations across Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Analyze system logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with customers, cross-functional teams, and OEM vendors for issue resolution and escalations.
Required Experience
- 2 to 10 years of experience in technical support, storage administration, backup operations, or infrastructure support.
- Strong understanding of enterprise backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Experience supporting Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, RAID, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting backup jobs, storage performance issues, and system-level incidents.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and ITIL-based support processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
