*This role is based in our South Austin HQ. The team works in the office Monday–Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Made In is the leader in the digitally-native kitchen space. We bring Chef expertise and centuries-old cookware manufacturing techniques to craft professional-quality kitchen tools for the home and professional cook. We are backed by some of the best chefs in the world and have been featured in publications and shows such as the Today Show, NY Times, Fast Company, Business Insider, and more.

About the Role

As a Demand Planner, you'll report to the Manager, Demand Planning and work closely with them to build and maintain the SKU-level forecast that drives inventory decisions across Made In. You'll turn sales history, promotional calendars, and channel input into a demand plan. You'll help dig into forecast misses and bring findings to your manager and cross-functional partners.

Made In is scaling quickly, both domestically and internationally. Accurate forecasts help us avoid stockouts, protect margin, and make every dollar of inventory count. As part of a growing planning team, you'll help build the foundation for that growth and develop your career along with it.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role. It's a good fit for someone early in their planning career who likes working in the data and wants to learn the full demand planning process from the ground up. You'll get direct mentorship, and your ownership will grow as you do.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Analysis

Maintain and update SKU/channel-level statistical forecasts under the guidance of the Demand Planning Manager.

Support forecasts for new product launches, promotions, and end-of-life transitions with Marketing and Product.

Track forecast accuracy and bias each month, help find the root causes of misses, and recommend adjustments.

S&OP Support

Prepare data, forecast updates, and analysis for monthly Demand Review and S&OP meetings.

Gather input from DTC, retail, and wholesale channel partners to help build the consensus forecast.

Flag demand-supply gaps and at-risk SKUs to your manager and Supply Planning.

Process & Tools

Carry out the team's standard planning processes and suggest improvements as you learn the business.

Maintain forecast data in planning tools and the ERP, and keep master data clean and current.

Support safety stock calculations and inventory health reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

4+ years in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or a related analytical role. Strong analytical internships or rotational program experience will be considered.

CPG or consumer products experience is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, or a related field.

Technical Skills

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, working with large datasets).

Exposure to forecasting tools or ERP/MRP systems is a plus. SQL or BI tools are a bonus.

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clear communicator who's comfortable asking questions and sharing what the data shows.

Collaborative and coachable. You work well on a team and with cross-functional partners.

Mindset

Curious and proactive: you want to understand why the numbers moved.

Eager to learn and grow into more ownership over time.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing business.

Benefits We Offer

Competitive salary, 401k, healthcare benefits (including fertility and family-building care, mental health therapy, telemedicine virtual health access along with HSA and FSA plans) and free and discounted cookware
