Your Role

As a Development Engineer – Dynamics and Control Engineering (m/f/x), with a focus on dynamics and control engineering, you will play a key role in the development, integration, and validation of complex mechatronic systems in the field of semiconductor mask inspection. You will combine a deep understanding of system dynamics with hands-on experience in commissioning and validating innovative damping and control concepts. Your responsibilities will include:

• •Develop and design control and damping concepts for highly dynamic mechatronic systems
• •Analyze, model, and optimize the dynamic behavior of complex machine and system architectures
• •Plan, conduct, and evaluate experimental validation activities, particularly in the areas of: Modal analysis, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), Dynamic System identification and Vibration and stability analysis
• •Commission, integrate, and test active and passive damping systems
• •Develop integration concepts, test strategies, and technical work instructions
• •Work closely with experts from mechanical engineering, software development, electronics, and systems engineering
• •Contribute to the technical design of the overall system architecture
• •Identify and implement optimization opportunities throughout the product development process
• •Support the continuous improvement of modern methods and processes in the field of Product Development & Integration

Your Profile

• •Successfully completed university degree (Master’s or PhD) in one of the following fields: Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Control Engineering, Cybernetics, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering/Vehicle Dynamics, or a comparable discipline
• •Several years of professional experience in the development of highly dynamic and mechatronic systems
• •Strong knowledge of control engineering and system dynamics
• •Experience in the experimental validation of dynamic systems, particularly modal analysis and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) methods
• •Practical experience in the commissioning, integration, and testing of dynamic systems
• •Knowledge and experience in developing and applying damping and vibration reduction concepts
• •Experience in preparing technical work instructions and integration concepts
• •Understanding of complex system architectures and interdisciplinary development processes
• •Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
• •Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
