Dishwasher

Description

The Position:

As a Dishwasher at The Bancroft, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use by the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

• •Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• •Hand-wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
• •Sort and stack dishes and utensils in appropriate areas for storage.
• •Ensure that the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
• •Empty trash and recycling bins as needed.
• •Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• •Help with other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• •Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• •Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• •Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• •Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• •Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
