Big Bear Mountain Resort is located in the San Bernardino National Forest, approximately 100 miles from Los Angeles and Orange County and 150 miles from San Diego. POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinates communication to ensure a smooth on-time opening/closing of the resort and keeps key personnel within the resort informed of progress and anticipated delays. Will log all lift stoppages, report and communicate all information to appropriate departments, and alert management of all lift down time.
This position is located at Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake.
Starting wage between $19.00/hr. - $22.84/hr. depending on experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- At least eighteen (18) years old
- Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read, comprehend, and retain instructions
- Able to exhibit sound judgment and maintain a positive attitude
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Broad base of general typing, clerical, data entry and office skills
- Willingness to gain a greater knowledge of BBMR’s ski trails, chairlifts, and mountain operations
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Able to speak clearly, give direction, and provide accurate details
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in stressful situations
- Radio experience preferred
- Available to work flexible schedules including nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
