About Us – Health Essentials

Health Essentials is the leading provider in the Four-State area for home medical equipment, supplies, and services. We have Earned an Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA ) for 15 consecutive years. The On-Call team, including a respiratory

therapist, is always available for emergencies after normal business hours.

Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week)

What You'll Do

Educates customers on proper and safe usage of home medical equipment, ostomy, diabetic, wound care, respiratory equipment to include oxygen, small volume nebulizer. Can trouble shoot equipment problems over the phone

Accesses customer needs, measures customers for custom fit, explains safety issues. Responsible for verifying information is correct

Keeps current on medicare, medicaid, and insurance payor requirements for equipment and supplies and is able to explain the coverage to customers. Calls insurance for verification as needed

Handles customer complaints to resolve issues

Assists with ordering/restocking inventory. Answers telephone and takes care of inquiry or referral

Accepts orders from physicians and referrals processing proper documentation and processes new orders for billing and delivery of product and services in a timely fashion, making sure all orders are completed and all required documentation is signed and dated

Requirements

Two years of experience in a health care organization
