• Position Summary:
• Florida Express, a Waste Connections Company is looking for a safety-conscious Driver Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting the driver with residential and/or commercial route collections while ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Job Duties:

• •Ride on the back of the truck and assist the driver on collection routes
• •Collect and dump residential and/or commercial waste and recyclables
• •Safely load and unload materials into the truck
• •Navigate routes and assist with directions as needed
• •Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operations at all times
• •Provide courteous and professional service to customers
• •Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• •Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• •Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, and ride on the back of the truck for extended periods
• •Strong work ethic and reliability
• •Team-oriented mindset

Schedule:

• •Early morning start times (typically 5:00 AM–6:00 AM)
• •Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed
