Job Description

As DXR Operational Material Management (OMM) Manager, you will lead the team responsible for securing material availability and protecting customer delivery and factory continuity.

You will oversee material and supply planning, operational procurement, NPI supply-chain readiness and lifecycle execution. Acting as the operational integrator for material flow, you will translate business demand and product changes into executable supply plans, identify risks early and lead cross-functional recovery when commitments are at risk.

You will combine disciplined operational leadership with the development of the future OMM operating model, including strong standard work, Lean management, digital enablement and automation.

You are responsible for

• •Lead, develop and engage an international, multidisciplinary OMM team, building clear accountability, capability and succession.
• •Secure material availability by translating demand and production requirements into executable material and supply plans.
• •Identify material and supplier risks early and drive recovery actions that protect customer commitments and factory continuity.
• •Govern supplier delivery performance, capacity constraints, purchase-order execution and structural improvement in partnership with Procurement and Quality.
• •Balance customer service, continuity, inventory, cost, quality and supply risk when making operational decisions.
• •Ensure supply-chain readiness for new-product introductions, engineering changes, lifecycle transitions and end-of-life decisions.
• •Orchestrate decisions across Planning, Procurement, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance and suppliers.
• •Lead the OMM transformation roadmap through Lean, standard work, digital enablement and automation.
• •Provide leadership with concise visibility of business impact, recovery plans, ownership and required decisions.

You are a part of

You will be part of the DXR Integrated Supply Chain leadership team and report to the Head of ISC DXR. You will lead an international team across material and supply planning, operational procurement, NPI and lifecycle management.

Together, the OMM team converts business priorities, supplier capabilities and product changes into reliable material flow and operational execution.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• •A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• •Typically, eight or more years of relevant supply-chain or operations experience, including progressively responsible leadership roles.
• •Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary or international teams.
• •Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management, operational procurement, supplier performance and demand-supply balancing.
• •Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations while driving structural improvement and organizational change.
• •Strong stakeholder leadership, with the ability to influence across functions and align teams around priorities and trade-offs.
• •The ability to translate complex operational risks into clear business impact, recovery actions and timely decisions.
• •Sound judgement under uncertainty and a practical, customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

Experience in a regulated, technology-driven manufacturing environment and with NPI, lifecycle management, Lean or digital supply-chain transformation is an advantage

• This is an office role, based in Best, the Netherlands. This means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

• Compensation & benefits
• Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €78.187 – €130.312 Gross including holiday allowance . We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
