What You Will Do:

• •Will participate in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line.
• •Completes drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
• •Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design for new products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.

What You Will Learn:

• •Gain knowledge about designing electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• •Gain knowledge in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.

Qualifications You Must Have :

• •Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• •Experience using MatLab, C, C+, Excel, JavaScript
• •Experience using Microsoft Office products

Qualifications We Prefer:

• •Experience using test equipment such as Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters
• •Experience using eCAD Tools and Electronic design and simulation tools

Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
