E&A Integrator

About the Role

As an E&A Integrator , you will be responsible for the successful integration of electrical and automation systems within complex, multidisciplinary projects. You will ensure that all E&A components, subsystems, and interfaces function seamlessly together and comply with the project's functional, technical, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with engineering teams, project managers, construction and commissioning personnel, suppliers, and end users, you will play a pivotal role throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your expertise enables you to proactively identify technical risks, resolve integration challenges, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and system performance from concept development through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead the integration of electrical and automation systems within projects across our business sectors, with a particular emphasis on defence-related projects.
• •Coordinate and manage technical interfaces between multiple engineering disciplines, systems, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• •Review and validate technical documentation, drawings, functional specifications, control philosophies, and system architectures.
• •Identify, analyse, and resolve integration and interface issues throughout the engineering, execution, and commissioning phases.
• •Plan, coordinate, and supervise Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
• •Serve as the primary technical authority for E&A integration within the project organisation and towards external stakeholders.
• •Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, quality procedures, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• •Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and integration engineers within the team.

Candidate Profile

• •Minimum Technical vocational qualification (MBO) combined with significant relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• •Minimum of five years of relevant experience in electrical and automation engineering, system integration, industrial automation, or complex technical project environments.
• •Sound knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial control systems.
• •Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary project environments and managing complex technical interfaces.
• •Strong understanding of applicable industry standards, safety regulations, testing methodologies, and commissioning processes.
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
• •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• •Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
