Facility Supervisor

The Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting various safety measures that follow company protocol, as well as state and federal laws.

• General Responsibilities
• •Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures, regulatory safety in compliance with national and international regulations and regional regulations for the reporting of adverse events to regulatory agencies
• •Acts as a liaison internally and with external collaborators to develop programs
• •Leads the development and preparation of reports for company management as well as external regulatory agencies
• •Prepares new product application safety updates, investigational new product safety reports, investigator communications, product labeling/package inserts and other reports as necessary
• •Leads with the maintenance of records on lost time accidents and prepares appropriate reports
• •Implements hazardous waste control and disposal activities including training, collection, disposal, and records maintenance, as well as conservation programs within the organization

• Experience / Qualifications
• •A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• •Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• •Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• •Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• •Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• •Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• •Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
