About the Role

Desun Hospital, Siliguri is looking for a Finance & Accounts professional to support day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and audit-related activities.

The role will involve working closely with the hospital's finance and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial operations and effective compliance with applicable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• •Manage day-to-day accounting activities, ledger maintenance, and financial records.
• •Prepare MIS reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• •Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• •Support GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory compliance activities.
• •Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and documentation.
• •Process vendor payments and support payroll-related finance activities.
• •Coordinate with hospital departments and administrative teams on finance-related matters.
• •Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
• •Assist in strengthening internal controls, processes, and SOPs.
• •Ensure finance activities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and organisational policies.

Required Skills

• •Working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
• •Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• •Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally Prime is preferred.
• •Experience with ERP or hospital management systems will be an advantage.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Good communication and coordination skills.
• •Ability to manage multiple finance-related activities and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• •CA, CA Inter with B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• •0-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or compliance.
• •Candidates with relevant experience in healthcare or hospital finance will be preferred.
