The Finance Test Analyst is responsible for the creation of the test scope for each project they are assigned to. They will also create the necessary test scripts to fully cover the end to end solution. They will work in collaboration with both Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts in making sure the scope and scripts provide the correct level of coverage. They will support test execution and in some instance be asked to perform test execution, collate test evidence, raise and retest defects, all within the Test Management tool Jira.

• Key Responsibilities:
• 1. Test Scoping:
• a) Develop a test scope utilising all project documentation available while liaising with Business Analysts and Subject Matter experts.
• b) Ensure the full traceability of all Business requirements are included in the test scope.
• c) Take this scope document through a series of reviews and walkthroughs to ensure coverage is correct.
• d) Achieve scope sign off within agreed testing timelines.
• 2. Test Scripting & Evidencing:
• a) Create test scripts to support the full test scope with expected outcomes.
• b) Dependencies and prerequisites will be understood and progressed ahead of test execution.
• c) All test material will be created in Jira
• 3. Test Execution:
• a) Execute tests and raise any defects found in Jira.
• b) Capture evidence for all successful tests and ensure this evidence is stored in Jira.
• c) Support defect triage and retest defects once resolved.
• d) Support any business users through test execution.
