Finance Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Finance Director based in United States.

• This senior finance leadership role oversees the technical integrity, compliance, and reporting of a mission-driven international nonprofit organization.
• You’ll serve as the organization’s senior finance professional, ensuring accurate books, financial statements, audits, tax filings, treasury operations, and financial reporting.
• The role combines hands-on technical accounting expertise with team leadership, systems development, risk management, and change management.
• You’ll work across the United States, Ecuador, and Peru, providing financial oversight for international operations and grants to partner organizations.
• The position offers an opportunity to strengthen internal controls, bring accounting functions in-house, and build scalable financial systems without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• You’ll partner closely with executive leadership, auditors, funders, and the Board Finance Committee to turn complex financial information into clear, decision-useful insights.
• This is a fully remote U.S.-based opportunity requiring regular schedule overlap with Ecuador and Peru, with occasional travel to country offices.
