FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION (N8) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.

Duties

• •You will perform independent financial management analysis supporting all phases of budget formulation, justification, execution, and financial operations for organizational programs and activities.
• •You will analyze financial and program data to evaluate costs, benefits, risks, and alternative methods for managing organizational programs and administrative operations.
• •You will apply accounting, internal control, and financial reporting principles to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of organizational financial information.
• •You will perform work involving complex accounting systems and ensures audit readiness and full regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience interpreting appropriation laws, financial regulations and policies; *Experience performing data analytics; *Experience providing financial advice and guidance to external customers; *Experience performing financial reporting and auditing; and *Experience providing training.
