Financial Manager, Sales Enablement Team

Position Summary

• The Financial Manager will play a pivotal role in the Sales Administration team within the DA organization. This position is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving process improvements to support sales activities. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Role and Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibility:

• •Develop and implement cross-functional financial processes to support sales operations for the Builder Direct channel. Key teams to partner with: Credit & Collections, Credit Risk Management, Accounts Receivable and operations.
• •Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance.
• •Monitor and report on key financial metrics to support decision-making.
• •Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• •Customer contract review to identify inconsistencies with Samsung policies and processes as well as ensure SEA can invoice customer and collect payment.
• •Manage credit waiver needs; credit checking rules, Samsung SCEC status.
• •Create accruals for funding if needed.
• •Manage billing when process falls outside of SEA standard email practice.
• •Manage customer accounts receivable. Provide reason for any late payments to Credit & Collections to minimize product shipment interruptions.
• •Reconcile and close out projects to a zero accounts receivable balance.
• •Create accruals, manage checkbooks and customer claims
• •Manage accruals for spending and closures

Minimum Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• •4-6 years of experience in financial operations or a related field.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• •Highest Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Excel).
• •Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• •Experience with SAP and EPI highly preferred
• •Experience in a sales administration or similar role.
• •Knowledge of Builder direct best practices in financial operations.
• •Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• •Experience and comfort level working in ambiguous environments where some processes are not defined.
