Position Summary

The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment while supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations through picking, packing, repackaging, unloading, and inventory-related activities. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product accuracy, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• •Complete assigned picking, packing, repackaging, and unloading tasks.
• •Operate stand-up forklift and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• •Ensure inventory accuracy and order fulfillment accuracy.
• •Follow all company safety, security, and quality policies.
• •Utilize basic math skills and weight scales to complete job functions.
• •Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• •Demonstrate a cooperative and professional attitude with coworkers and management.
• •Adhere to production schedules and work overtime and weekends as needed.
• •Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• •Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• •Minimum of 3 to 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• •Previous forklift operation experience required.
• •Licensed or certified Lift Truck Operator required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• •Ability to accurately add and multiply numbers.
• •Ability to read and understand written English instructions.
• •Ability to work from pick lists, work orders, and operating instructions.
• •Ability to maintain productivity standards, including picking up to 200 line items.
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand for extended periods.
• •Frequent repetitive motion throughout the shift.
• •Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• •Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds independently.
• •Team lifting required for items exceeding 50 pounds.
• •Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• •Ability to continuously move products of varying weights throughout the workday.

• •No more than six (6) attendance points.
• •Meet efficiency and quality performance standards for the previous three months.
• •Minimum of six (6) months in current position.
